This position is contingent on funding. The Special Education Program within ETSU's Clemmer College of Education, Department of Educational Foundations and Special Education seeks a full-time temporary (adjunct) Master Clinician in Special Education beginning January 2018 with opportunity to extend to future semesters.
Responsibilities for this position include serving as a liaison, developing, and maintaining positive collaborative relationships between ETSU and local school systems, schools and mentor teachers. The Master Clinician will supervise, evaluate, and mentor pre-service students within practicum and Residency practices (student teaching), maintain students records, and collect and report data related to student performance assessment.

Required Qualifications
Special Education teaching license, at least five years recent teaching practice or related instructional practice, and a master’s degree or higher in special education. Computer expertise are required for maintaining email communications with students and student evaluation through a web-located interface. Minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those with practice in mentoring students in practicum practices and student teaching. Preference will also be given to candidates who demonstrate expertise of diversity, expertise in covering needs of diverse groups and an appreciation for multiculturalism.
income 12,500.00 per semester
